Tim Rossi started making inroads in the southern rock music scene when he joined and began touring nationally with the Jimmie Van Zant band. Shortly after his tenure with Jimmie, Rickey Medlocke of Lynyrd Skynyrd and founding member of Blackfoot, tapped Tim to be a part of the modern incarnation of Blackfoot. After touring this new version of Blackfoot extensively in the States and the U.K. they released their "Southern Native" CD on Loud and Proud Records, featuring Tim on guitar and vocals. And are currently working on their follow up record. Tim is widely known as a versatile and expressive guitar player and songwriter, as well as a charismatic live entertainer, whose wild stage antics are as popular as his blistering guitar licks. And all the while, either on the road or in the studio, he is a brand ambassador for some highly respected music product companies, such as ESP Guitars, Daddario & Co., Evertune bridges, Seymour Duncan Pickups, Wizard amps, Zoom music technologies and ChromaCast music accessories.
